Tag Tower
Legal
Terms of use, privacy policy, and operator information for Tag Tower.
Terms of Use
By using Tag Tower or buying a block, you agree to these terms. The operator is established in Austria. If you do not agree, do not use the service or complete a purchase.
Disclaimers
- No performance or growth promises. Tag Tower makes no warranty, representation, or guarantee of any kind regarding follower growth, reach, traffic, engagement, leads, revenue, or other business or marketing outcomes. The Service is provided solely as a public, meme-style status display and social flex; it is not a growth hack, advertising product, influencer service, or performance-marketing offering.
- Visibility and moderation. Purchased blocks remain publicly displayed for as long as the Service is operated and available. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to hide, remove, or neutralize blocks (including displaying a placeholder) where a handle or content violates our rules, applicable law, third-party rights, or platform safety standards, without obligation to provide a refund except where mandatory law requires it.
The product
Tag Tower sells digital placement on a public, scrollable tower: one handle per block at €1 per block (plus applicable Austrian VAT or other taxes shown at checkout). You may buy 1–1,000 consecutive blocks in one checkout. Blocks receive permanent numbers and appear on public pages after successful payment.
Consumers in Austria
If you are a consumer (Verbraucher) within the meaning of the Austrian Consumer Protection Act (Konsumentenschutzgesetz, KSchG), mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected by these terms.
For distance contracts, the Austrian Act on Distance and Off-Premises Contracts (Fern- und Auswärtsgeschäfte-Gesetz, FAGG) may give you a 14-day right of withdrawal. For digital content delivered immediately after purchase, that right can be excluded if you expressly agree to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your withdrawal right once delivery begins. By completing checkout, you request immediate publication of your block(s) on the public tower.
Publishing
Blocks are allocated and published automatically after successful payment confirmation. Removed or hidden blocks may appear as neutral placeholders so tower numbering remains stable.
Refunds
Where no mandatory statutory right applies, purchases are non-refundable once blocks are published as digital placements. If something went wrong with your payment or allocation, contact support with your claim ID and Stripe receipt email within 14 days and we will review the case. Statutory remedies under Austrian law (for example for defective performance) remain reserved.
Handles
You must submit a valid handle on the platform you select at checkout that you are allowed to use. Typos may be corrected only through manual support after verification. We do not offer self-service handle edits in V1.
Availability and liability
We may change, pause, or discontinue the service. We are not liable for downtime, data loss beyond reasonable restoration efforts, or indirect damages. Liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected purchase where Austrian law permits; unlimited liability remains for injury to life, body, or health and for fraudulent intent or gross negligence.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Austria, excluding conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer with habitual residence in Austria, mandatory protections of your place of residence are not excluded. For business customers, the courts at the operator's place of business in Austria have exclusive jurisdiction where permitted by law.

Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Tag Tower processes personal data. We are established in Austria. Processing is governed by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (Datenschutzgesetz, DSG) in its applicable version.

What we collect
- Handle and platform you submit at checkout, shown on public tower pages.
- Payment data processed by Stripe (email, payment method details). We do not store full card numbers.
- Purchase records such as block numbers, claim IDs, amounts, and timestamps in our database.
- Technical logs from our host (Cloudflare), for example IP address, request time, and error data needed to run the service.
Legal bases (GDPR Art. 6)
- Contract — to provide blocks you purchase and related support.
- Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and moderate the public tower, and to prevent abuse.
- Legal obligation — where Austrian or EU law requires retention or disclosure (for example tax or accounting rules).
Sharing and processors
We use Stripe (payments) and Cloudflare (hosting and database). Public tower pages are visible to anyone. We do not sell your personal data. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) offered by our processors.
Retention
Tower and purchase records are kept while the service runs so block numbers stay stable, and longer where Austrian law requires (for example bookkeeping). You can ask us to hide or correct handles where our moderation rules allow.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and DSG you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability, and the right to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. Contact us at the address above; we respond within the statutory periods (generally one month under GDPR Art. 12).
You may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde): dsb.gv.at.
